Registration remains open on the website: www.lpatrail.com

The LPA Trail 2026 mountain race has already exceeded 250 registrants from a dozen nationalities. The event, which will take place on Sunday, March 15, will once again offer three modalities of 19, 11, and 5 kilometers, as well as the children’s race, LPA Kids, for boys and girls aged 0 to 12, and development categories for Infantile, Cadet, and Junior participants.

Participants include representatives from a dozen countries such as the United Kingdom, Hungary, Ireland, Austria, Colombia, and France. Furthermore, the event will have a high female presence since, so far, 37% of those registered are women, surpassing the percentage of previous editions.

Registration for the three modalities remains open through the website www.lpatrail.com. The LPA Larga, which is 19 kilometers long with 178 meters of positive elevation gain, will start from the urban center of Santa Brígida. Participants will venture through the ravines (barrancos) of Santa Brígida, El Colegio, and Guiniguada, before entering the old town of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to reach the finish line, located in the Plaza de Santa Ana.

The LPA Media will once again start this eleventh edition from the football field of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and will finish, like the rest of the modalities, in Vegueta. This race will include development categories with a Junior classification for participants aged 17 and 18.

The LPA Corta will begin in the Lomo Verdejo neighborhood and continue through the Guiniguada ravine to the Plaza de Santa Ana. The route, which is fast and accessible for all ages, will have an Infantile category for children aged 13 and 14, as well as a Cadet category for athletes aged 15 and 16. Likewise, minors aged 8 and over can also be part of the LPA Trail, always accompanied by an adult, thus promoting family sport.

Vegueta, Epicenter of the Trail Festival

Once again, the Plaza de Santa Ana will become a trail festival. In addition to hosting all the finishes, it will be the stage for the LPA Kids with children’s races divided into two categories: 200 meters for children aged 0 to 7, and 500 meters for participants aged 7 to 12.
