LPA MIDDLE DISTANCE RACE
The LPA Middle Distance Race (10 km) 2024 Edition has returned to its original distance. The race will start from the football field of the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria all the way to the finish line at the Plaza de Santa Ana. It’s a race where you can enjoy the mountains without leaving the city.
On this 2024 edition, the organisation has established that training categories can participate as well. Runners between 17-18 years of age (Youth category) will be able to register for the LPA Middle Distance Race (10 km).
Registration fee: 20 euros.
Registration fee for Youth category: 5 euros.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Departure time of shuttle to race start: 08:45 am. Meeting point to catch the shuttle bus at the corner of Obispo Codina and Juan de Quesada.
Race start time: 10:00 am
Starting line: Football field of Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Bus departure time to the starting line: 08:45 am (meeting point to catch the bus: Obispo Codina with Juan Quesada).
Starting time of the race: 10:00 am.
Distance: 9.9 km.
Positive difference in altitude: 103 m.
Negative difference in altitude: 400 m.
Guiniguada aid station: 6.7 PK.
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT
Mobile phone with sufficient credit and battery.
Useful water containers to drink from at the aid stations (there will be no cups available).
Race bib placed on the front in a visible place.
